FENNEC FAQ
Short answers about trading, bridging, launching tokens and Fennec ID on Fractal Bitcoin. Each answer links to a longer guide where one exists.
Getting started
What is FENNEC?
FENNEC (Fennec Swap) is a set of tools on Fractal Bitcoin: the Terminal, a DEX interface that trades against InSwap pools; the Launchpad, where tokens start on a bonding curve and graduate into a real BRC-20 with an InSwap pool; and Fennec ID, an on-chain identity card for your wallet.
Which wallet do I need?
FENNEC connects to the UniSat Wallet browser extension. UniSat holds both Bitcoin and Fractal Bitcoin assets; keep some FB on your Fractal address for network fees.
Does FENNEC hold my funds?
Your keys stay in your wallet and you sign every transaction. Terminal swaps settle inside InSwap, the BRC-20 swap module operated by UniSat, so your InSwap balance is held by InSwap, not by FENNEC. FB paid into a live Launchpad curve is held in the Launchpad treasury until the token graduates or you sell; FENNEC publishes treasury balances next to its obligations on the Proof of Reserves page.
Trading and bridging
How do I swap FB for a BRC-20 token?
Open the Terminal, connect UniSat and deposit FB into your InSwap balance (minimum 1 FB). On the Swap tab pick the token, check the quote, minimum received and fees, then sign. Pairs without FB on either side are routed in two hops through FB. Full walkthrough: Swap FB and BRC-20 tokens.
How do I move BTC to Fractal Bitcoin?
Use the Terminal's Deposit tab with BTC selected (minimum 0.00001 BTC). UniSat switches to Bitcoin mainnet, you sign the deposit transaction, and after it confirms InSwap credits bridged BTC to your InSwap balance on Fractal. To go back, withdraw BTC (minimum 0.00004 BTC). Step by step: Bridge BTC to Fractal.
Where can I see every market and token?
The pair directory lists every InSwap market with TVL, 24-hour volume, holders and last price. The token directory lists every Launchpad token with its status, holders and trades.
Launchpad
What fees does the Launchpad charge?
Bonding-curve buys and sells pay a 2% fee: 20% of it goes to the token creator and 80% to the platform. Fennec ID holders pay between 1.8% and 1.0% depending on rarity. Creating a token costs from 0.01 FB, more when Fractal network fees are high. See Fees & Tokenomics.
What happens when a Launchpad token graduates?
When the curve collects its graduation target (500 to 10,000 FB, 1,000 FB by default), the token is deployed as a real BRC-20 and an InSwap pool is created with the 20% of supply reserved for liquidity. Of the pool's LP tokens, 95% are burned, 3% stay with the platform locked for one year, and 2% go to the creator. More in Launch a BRC-20 token.
Fennec ID and Earn
What is Fennec ID and what does it cost?
Fennec ID is an identity card minted as a recursive HTML inscription on Fractal. It scores your wallet from 0 to 100 (activity, wealth, time and badges) and assigns one of six rarity tiers from CUB to SPIRIT. Minting costs 1 FB plus the inscription network fee. Holding an ID lowers Launchpad fees and is required for FENNEC Earn. Read What is Fennec ID?
How does FENNEC Earn work?
FENNEC Earn gives a verified Fennec ID holder one signed referral link. Rewards come from the Launchpad curve fees and Fennec ID mint fees of the wallets you refer, are verified by the server and are paid in FB, which you can request to withdraw.
Safety
How do I stay safe?
Use only fennecbtc.xyz, read every UniSat signing window before approving, and never share your seed phrase; FENNEC will never ask for it. Service health is shown on the Status page and treasury coverage on the Proof of Reserves page.
