What is Fennec ID?
Fennec ID is an identity card for your Fractal Bitcoin wallet. It reads your on-chain history, turns it into a score and a rarity tier, and lives on-chain as an inscription you own. This page explains how it is built, how the score works and what holding an ID unlocks on FENNEC.
An identity card that lives on-chain
Each Fennec ID is minted as a recursive HTML inscription on Fractal Bitcoin. Instead of storing a static picture, the inscription loads a shared rendering library and your wallet's metrics, so the card draws itself in the browser as an animated, interactive card that you can flip.
- Front: your archetype, a short piece of lore, and a border effect that matches your rarity.
- Back: the details — balances, FENNEC holdings, counts of Runes, BRC-20 tokens and Ordinals, and the badges you have earned.
Because it is an inscription held by your address, the card is yours: it appears in your wallet like any other inscription.
How the score is calculated
Your score runs from 0 to 100 and is the sum of four parts:

The FENNEC MAXI badge adds a ×1.15 multiplier (the total still tops out at 100). It activates when a wallet holds at least 10,000 FENNEC or has FENNEC in an InSwap liquidity position.
The six rarity tiers
- CUB — score 0–29
- SCOUT — 30–49
- HUNTER — 50–64
- ALPHA — 65–79
- ELDER — 80–94
- SPIRIT — 95–100, the rarest tier

What a Fennec ID unlocks
- Lower Launchpad fees. The standard bonding-curve trade fee is 2%. ID holders pay 1.8% (CUB), 1.7% (SCOUT), 1.6% (HUNTER), 1.4% (ALPHA), 1.2% (ELDER) or 1.0% (SPIRIT). Details are on Fees & Tokenomics.
- FENNEC Earn. The referral program requires a verified Fennec ID held by your wallet.
- A shareable profile. Share your card on X straight from the ID page.
How to mint, update and refresh
- Open the Fennec ID page and connect UniSat Wallet.
- FENNEC scans your address and shows a preview card with your score, tier and badges.
- Click Mint ID. Minting costs 1 FB plus the network fee for the inscription, and you sign the payment in UniSat.
- When your activity grows, Update burns the old inscription and mints a new one with fresh metrics.
- Refresh re-scans your wallet to update the preview without minting.
Before minting you can use Check discount to see whether your wallet qualifies for a reduced price. New inscriptions need a block or two to appear in your wallet.
